Evan Dunham will take on Edson Barboza at UFC 146 in Las Vegas
News has recently emerged that lightweight UFC contenders Evan Dunham and Edson Barboza will fight each other at UFC 146 on the 26th of May 2012. The event is likely to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be headlined by a heavyweight title match up between current champion Junior Dos Santos and the challenger Alistair Overeem.
Evan Dunham enters this fight with an MMA record of 13-2. His most recent fight was against Nik Lentz at UFC on Fox 2 in which he scored a TKO victory due to a doctors stoppage. This fight earned both men "Fight Of The Night" Honors for their performance and gives Dunham a two fight winning streak. Evan will look to extend that streak to three with a win over Barboza which would put him right back in the picture at 155.
The Brazilian Edson Barboza is currently undefeated with and MMA record of 10-0. Since making his debut in the UFC back in November 2010 Barboza has won all four of his fights with victories against Mike Lullo, Anthony Njokuani, Ross Pearson and most recently Terry Etim at UFC 142. Edson won both "Fight Of The Night" honors and "Knockout Of The Night" honors in the fight against Etim. He finished the fight with an amazing spinning wheel kick which many feel could have been one of the best UFC knockouts ever seen. Barboza will look to remain undefeated and carry on his path to the title with a big win over Dunham. This fight should be great! Don't miss it.
Thanks guys.

UFC Undisputed 3 Review - PS3
THQ is back with their latest instalment from the world of mixed martial arts. UFC Undisputed 3 hit UK stores on February 17th 2012 and fans will be happy to know that this latest release does not disappoint.
Since the last game (UFC Undisputed 2010) THQ have really worked hard on making improvements on the area's that came up short, making for a much more enjoyable gaming experience. The main differences can be found in the improved gameplay and game modes.
One of the most popular additions to this game is the Pride mode which allows gamers to either re-live classic Pride fights or work their way up the ranks through the career mode. The game also includes a lot of cool bonus videos and footage that can be earned upon completing or working through different parts of the game.
One of the main things I found hard in the older UFC games was mastering the ground controls when fighting and actually pulling of a submission which required frantic joystick rotation. This has been simplified and improved to allow players to really take control on the ground and manoeuvre or reverse out of different situations. Submission success is also now determined by a mini-game where you chase the opponents player bar with your own player bar to weaken their defence and complete a successful submission.
The stand up element of the game while control wise is still very much the same has also been improved with much more fluent combos and striking attacks. Clinching has become more complex with additional ways to attack and inflict damage to your opponent. You are also now able to have your opponent against the cage and work from that area to improve dominance and gain control during a fight.
The career mode allows players to either choose to work their way up the ranks with an existing UFC fighter or create their own fighter from scratch. Under the trusted guidance of Mike Goldberg you are given relevant tutorials and tips on how to manage each area of your career from training and fight camps through to sponsors and octagon attire. The stat heavy style of the previous UFC games has been greatly improved with a more skill orientated approach that allows you to make your fighter better by playing mini-games and performing drills. This gives the whole training experience a new edge and makes it a lot more fun and enjoyable.
On top of the improvements to the gameplay and game modes you will also find that two new weight classes have been added (featherweight and bantamweight). The game also has improved graphics which showcases detailed fighter likeness and accurate body types. The game still features jaw-dropping knockouts and also has some entertaining fighter entrances that I am sure you will enjoy. UFC undisputed 3 definitely improves on where the last game was weak and gives fans the chance to play and be part of the worlds largest mixed martial arts organisation. This game gets a huge thumbs up from me and is sure to be a success with fans.
Thanks again to you the readers and THQ for such a great game.

Product Review: Fight Gear Anklets
I was recently sent a pair of Fight Gear Anklets by my friends over at fightgear-4u.com - Here is my review on the product...
Style and Appearance
These Fightgear4u Anklets have a really nice appearance, the base colour is black with all the print and grip spots in red. The anklet has a red Fightgear4u logo on the side which looks great. The grip spots are located on the sole section of the anklet and really combines well with the colour of the logo. Absolutely nothing wrong with the appearance and I would say that this product is a good example of style through simplicity.
Design and Fit
These anklets are very snug and tight which provides great support for your foot and ankle. When pulling them on you you have to give them a good tug, but once on correctly they feel very comfortable and provide great wear-ability. After a few seconds of having them on I was nearly unaware that they were there due to the nice fit. The anklets have a hole where the heel of your foot pops out which allows for flexibility and movement. There is no fancy element to the design of these anklets but they are designed to do their job which is support the foot and ankle while training and they do just that.
Performance and Functionality
When in actual use during training these anklets provide great grip allowing for quick movement and control, this gives the user added confidence while sparring or doing pad work etc. When you have these anklets on you can feel the great support that they provide, which is great for anyone who has an injury or is trying to prevent one from happening. I found that my joints were under minimal stress when using this piece of kit, so if you know that you have a weak foot or ankle this gear would be great as it allows you to train in the knowledge that you are protected and safe.
Overall Analysis
Overall this is a great piece of kit that gives the wearer added confidence and protection while training. While basic in design the anklets do a great job in supporting and keeping your joints safe. I definitely give this gear the thumbs up!
Make sure you check out: http://fightgear-4u.com/ for all the latest MMA and fight gear.
Thanks to you the readers and fightgear-4u.com for sending me the product.
Please feel free to leave comments on what you think.
